The Ultrasound School of North American Rheumatologists (USSONAR) cordially invites you to join us for the 2023 USSONAR Multi-Track MSK Ultrasound Conference, with in-person, hands-on tracks in diagnostic and procedural ultrasound at the University of South Florida Health Center for Advanced Medical Learning and Simulation (CAMLS), located at 124 S Franklin St, Tampa, Florida.

The scientific content is aimed to improve ultrasound-guided diagnosis and management of patients with a wide variety of inflammatory and soft-tissue conditions. The courses will also enable attendees to learn procedural skills in US guided arthrocentesis, injections, and synovial biopsies.

This conference will offer a basic MSK ultrasound track modeled after USSONAR's successful Fundamentals Training Program and is intended to meet educational requirements for Musculoskeletal Ultrasound in Rheumatology certification (RhMSUS). 

Simultaneously it will offer an advanced track in MSK ultrasound for practitioners, with intermediate to advanced MSK ultrasound experience, interested in furthering their diagnostic ultrasound skills and will provide continuing education needed for RhMSUS recertification. 

The ultrasound-guided synovial biopsy track is for experienced MSK sonographers wanting to learn this technique for research and clinical purposes. Applicants for the ultrasound-guided synovial biopsy track will be accepted based on the screening criteria submitted.

 

NOTE: The course is structured so that the advanced track and the synovial biopsy track can be taken in combination by qualified participants. Scheduling does not permit any other track combinations.

Conference registration fees include access to the associated track's sessions and labs, continuing education credit, lunch, and snack breaks. Travel and hotel lodging are not included in the conference registration fee and must be booked separately.
