The Advanced MSK Ultrasound Track is offered to clinicians who are comfortable with performing basic MSK ultrasound on a routine basis.  The track will highlight evaluating pathology beyond basic identification, touch on less commonly scanned anatomic sites and structures, and introduce areas of current research in rheumatology ultrasound.  Hands-on scanning with a faculty-to-student ratio of 1:5 on live rheumatic patients will occur.  Continuing education credit fulfilling RhMSUS recertification requirements can be earned. It is highly recommended that individuals taking the course should have knowledge and skill sets in basic MSK ultrasound.

Goals: To advance the use of Point of Care rheumatology ultrasound in patient care.
