The Basic MSK Ultrasound Track is geared towards clinicians with none to minimal experience in using ultrasound in rheumatology or MSK practice or who desire a refresher course in the basic protocols used in our Fundamentals course offered to rheumatology fellows. The basic track offers didactic lectures, supervised hands-on scanning of live models, as well as a day of cadaver-based ultrasound guided injection practice. The faculty-to-student ratio is 1:4. This is a unique opportunity to meet the educational requirements for the American College of Rheumatology RhMSUS certification.

Goals: To learn basic use of office-based diagnostic and procedural ultrasound in rheumatology practices and other practices with a MSK ultrasound component.
