The Intermediate Musculoskeletal Ultrasound Track is intended for learners with a basic understanding of normal musculoskeletal ultrasonography seeking to enhance their diagnostic scanning of pathology.  This hands-on course will emphasize clinically oriented scanning of common rheumatic pathology and the recognition, interpretation, and optimization of frequent scanning pitfalls. A review of ultrasound scanning protocols will be complemented by didactic and live-scanning of patients with common rheumatic pathology encountered in daily clinical practice. Attendees will work with knowledgeable and experienced faculty who will provide direct supervision and guidance on best scanning practices. Hands-on scanning sessions in small groups will allow ample scanning time for personalized coaching for attendees. This year's course will also include a lecture on use of ultrasound in Sjorgren's Syndrome.

The interventional Cadaver Based Ultrasound-Guided MSK Injection Track  will be a natural complement to this course.
