The Intermediate Musculoskeletal Ultrasound Track is intended for learners with a basic understanding of normal musculoskeletal ultrasonography seeking to enhance their diagnostic scanning of pathology.  This hands-on course will emphasize clinically oriented scanning of common rheumatic pathology and the recognition, interpretation, and optimization of frequent scanning pitfalls. A review of ultrasound scanning protocols will be complemented by didactic and live-scanning of patients with common rheumatic pathology encountered in daily clinical practice. Attendees will work with knowledgeable and experienced faculty who will provide direct supervision and guidance on best scanning practices. Hands-on scanning sessions in small groups will allow ample scanning time for personalized coaching for attendees.

Participants in this track will have the additional option of a one-on-one hands-on scanning session with experts in musculoskeletal ultrasound. These Meet-the-Professor sessions will be held on May 18th, after the main agenda concludes, and will include individualized attention, content tailored to the registrant's specific questions, and access to a renowned expert in MSKUS. This add-on option is $100 for a 20-minute session with limited availability.

The interventional Cadaver Based Ultrasound-Guided MSK Injection Course will be a natural complement to this course.

Currently, the Intermediate MSK Ultrasound Track is at capacity. There is a possibility additional seats may become available. If you would like to register for this track, please email [email protected] to be added to a waitlist.
